This alternative pop song titled “Next Summer” was released from the 2025 music album captioned “Funny Little Fears” by Damiano David. He’s an Italian talented singer, songwriter and he’s the lead singer of the Italian well-know rock band, Måneskin.

Here, the singer expresses his optimism over how he will spend his next summer, escape loneliness and how beautiful it will be to find solace somewhere else.

However, according to the songwriter Damiano, “I put down in words a moment I lived during the summer. I guess it was a way, as I always do with my music, to cope with my experiences in life and feelings.

The lyrics are very simple, quite childish. So I’ve asked myself why I ended up with this kind of lyrics, and I guess it’s because what I tried to do was tell a more intense and complicated feeling in the easiest way possible.
