Good & Safest African Countries To Visit

Welcome to Africa, the “Motherland.” Africa is called “Mother continent or Motherland” for some reasons. It’s home of diverse cultures & natural cuisines, a birthplace of humankind, with vast natural resources, amazing scenery that are natural and second to none. Africa actually represents an important symbol among humans.

Well, I have heard some many people visiting other countries or continents such as UK, USA, Canada, China, India, Moldovia, Germany, Isreal, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Portugal, etc. But these people forgot or never had in mind to visit African partly due to false perception and lack of proper media coverage.

Here, many perceived Africa, that is made up of fifty five (55) sovereign countries, as war-thorn zone, poor state, disease-stricken area and under developed continent. But to proof you wrong, have you being to South Africa or Ethiopia or Mairitania, even Rwanda before? What about Nigeria, Madagascar or Tanzalia?

These are African countries with fascinating environment, development, cultures, traditions and infrastructural development that is unique to them that you as a visitor can not experience else where in world.

Remember, there is no country or continent around the world today that is not facing one element of security challenges or the other, even the United States of America. Therefore, using insecurity as an excuse not to visit and experience diverse cultural heritage and untold history of African countries should be considered an “enemy to tourism.”

With that being said, are there good & safest African countries to visit? YES! is my answer and I strongly believe it should be yours as well.

Why? African countries are blessed with natural resources, with little or no record of natural disasters occuring all year round. In addition, all the world’s raw materials, 70-80% are extracted from African countries.

Let’s use People Republic of Congo for instance. This country, although exploited by Belgium, are blessed with natural resources such as lithium (used in lithim batteries), zinc, copper, gold, tin, tantalum, cobalt and diamonds with the world’s second-largest rainforest. All these are crucial for technology, energy transitions and life support. Imagine a single African nation with all these!

Good African Countries To Visit?

I know there so many African good and safe countries to visit anytime, but I want to limit my discussion with just five (5) countries. Remember, you can make more research on this very topic. Let’s go!

1. Morocco: Morocco or Kingdom of Morocco located in the Northern part is one of the good and safest place or country to visit in Africa. I have my reasons for this. Although they are ruled by kingdom and their major religion is Islam, but they are transforming into a good state with a nice insfrastructural development especially in sports. They are rooted in history, rich cultural heritage and beautiful beaches. This country is a bridge between Africa and Europe, and it’s safe.
2. Namibia: This Southern African country offers a safe and unique safari experience like no other in Africa (maybe Kenya), if possible. With its vast, sparsely populated landscapes, sweeping dunes and rugged coastlines, Namibia embodies true adventure. No doubt about this, and despite its seemingly isolated nature, Namibia is remarkably safe and tourist-friendly, making it ideal for first-time African explorers.
3. Seychelles: I call this country “islands nation” with more 100 islands. Seychelles is peaceful and boasts beautiful and attractive landscapes, thereby making it one of the best honeymoon & tourism destinations in Africa. With several islands to explore, including Mahe, Praslin and private owned retreats, it offers stunning coral reefs for diving and other out-door activities.
4. Kenya: I refer to them “Wildlife nation” sitting along the Indian Ocean, Kenya is an East African heaven on planet earth renowned for its diverse landscape, wildlife, majestic mountains and amazing mini islands. With family-friendly options available, Kenya offers a variety of great safari destination throughout the year. Visit the East African country and you will love it! Also, explore Nairobi, the capital, for unique encounters like Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre, then venture into the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve for thrilling year-round safaris. Remember, this country is safe to visit.
5. Egypt: I know most of you will question it but this “Pharoah’s nation” can never be left out whenever you are talking about history, civilazation, tourism and cultural heritage as well. Have you heard about “The Mummies” or the iconic “Great Pyramids” built thousands of years ago among others. This ancient country embodies an ancient civilization that is still amazed mankind. Apart from the ancient monuments, Egypt is currently building a Smart Cities with other hi-tech infrastructures, including the world’s biggest meseum, Ground Egyptian Meseum (GEM). This country is where historical ancient civilization meets fascinating modern technology with security of lives at the back of their mind. Egypt is making infrastructural statement that worth your visit today.
